[Sunday in PA/OH] NS 8099 Southern going west?
Author: Lackawanna484

Could be moving west sometime on Sunday as a 65K. The power was in Cartaret NJ, shut down, late on Saturday. The Sewaren Motiva plant was shut down tight (parking lot empty, no visible signs of activity) on Saturday.

Likely the Southern unit will trail unless they spin the power at Port Reading. But it would "lead" during the train building phase

EDITED TITLE to reflect the train is already in Pittsburgh before lunchtime

They must have begun building the train shortly after I stopped by on Saturday afternoon. Power was up and cold then.  It usually takes a few hours to pull the five (?) cuts of empties, build the train, run around the train at CP-RON, and head west. To be at Pittsburgh before noon is impressive.
