Unless there is an outage of some sort on the Conemaugh Line, it would be VERY unusual for a 506 to run the Pittsburgh Line east from Wilmerding, so I would check that source carefully.

Well, the person making the post stated specifically that it's going that way rather than the Conemaugh, which acknowledges the unusualness of it.

Last report was Greensburg which is on the main. They steered clear of the Conemaugh to avoid me getting it!

Does this train usually get a recrew at Falls Yard, and is it a daylight run on the Jersey side?

I'm trying to get a read on whether it goes east and south after the morning commuter rush.

Thanks

Interesting. Wonder if there is a Conemaugh curfew, been a long time since Ive heard a coal train go east on the main.
