Hello everyone.  Well, as the title reads, “Before Things Took a Turn for the Worse…” I was actually somewhat lucky.  This past weekend my family and I were visiting the Marion / Galion, OH area and happened to discover a newer CSX engine and KCS units at the Marion Industrial Center.  Unfortunately, I only had my “field” camera on me instead of my usual Canon camera, but decided to get a few pictures anyway.  Well, my luck ran out the next day when we ended up in the Emergency Room because my Dad broken his ankle while hiking.  This in turn made us cancel our plans of watching trains that afternoon.  So, I am happy we at least made a few catches while in the area.  Sorry the pictures are not the best, but I had to work with the camera I had.  Thanks for looking and have a great week!
