Date: 08/03/15 20:24 Re: Just across the river Author: Poker2662 My guess is Fall 2013. RJC 8336 is no longer at that operation.
Date: 08/03/15 20:56 Re: Just across the river Author: kpcmcpkva The yellow building is STILL an active stop for Amtrak, The Cardinal 3 x a week east and west. National Park Sevice, I believe uses the building as Thurmond, the town, is a
National Historic Site. Date: 08/03/15 21:36 Re: Just across the river Author: BNSF-E9 The yellow building is the old Thurmond Depot, and is operated by The National Park Service.
Photos were taken October 2007. Date: 08/04/15 04:54 Re: Just across the river Author: dbrcnw Poker2662 Wrote:

As of two weeks ago RJ Corman had two engines on a siding along the branch line. They have a small office there, about a mile or two out of Thurmond. You'll see them on the road as you go from Route 19 to Thurmond. DaleR Date: 08/04/15 05:52 Re: Just across the river Author: EL-SD45-3632 "Building" How about Station or Depot :)
