Just before the NS Steam program was terminated in 1994, I was living in southern Wisconsin at the time. NS ran an out and back trip between their Calumet Yard and Ft. Wayne. It was an early morning to get from Milwaukee to Calumet with the crew I was running with at the time, which includes fellow TO member, one Keith Schmidt.

Image #2 - Splitting the signals @ MP417.9, between Mentone and Burket, IN on the Lake Div.

Image #3 - Having been turned on the table in East Wayne Yard, ready to head back west.
