I heard part of the call to the dispatcher, but I didn't hear the train or engine. Your help would be appreciated.

It sounds like this engine on the train had a "Prime Mover" failure. This means the diesel engine block of the locomotive had a major mechanical failure which made it inoperable. When this happens; it's referred to a "Prime Mover" failure. This term is often used to distguish the term of engine as a whole versus the diesel engine block itself. Often, a "Prime Mover" failure happens with a bang or the term "Blew up", and it's never good.
