NS 212 with a GE standard cab leader

NS train 212 today had a GE standard cab leader.  Train is seen at Rockafellows Mill Rd. grade crossing near Flemington, NJ

12:24 P.M.  I missed the 911 unit this morning in PA because I had to go to Physical Therapy. After P.T., I had to drop off a package in Lambertville so I took a little side trip to the Three Bridges/Flemington area.

Always unfortunate when a crew gets stuck with such a piece of crap for a leader, even if they are road crews

It's like asking you if you rent a car if you want a high end Mercedes, or a Ford Pinto...

Those standard cabs have terrible line of sight, usually they are drafty, loud, uncorfortable.... any chance I get it swap that power out
