D@mned if this isn't slick. And here I thought that drones should just
stay in the hive and help the queen make honey or whatever they do...
These shots tell a story that I've never seen in Fostoria. Thanks for
posting these.

John.

In the southest connection photo  in the lower right is an abandoned bridge,
looks like two tracks. The purpose of same?

And in looking at Google tracks take off  fromthe south end of  E. Lafayette street for?

There is some form of a former junction near Lafayette street, for starters.

Very nice, been there several times and never noticed the bridge east of the southeast connection. Having read the Trains article and seeing their map I'm going to assume this is where the NYC crossed?
Great shots.

AWESOME views of a great place to visit. It would really help if they could just put some piles of dirt or small towers in each corner to get a little elevation but first things first. All in all one of the better viewing places I have visited though.

Very nice coverage on a different perspective. A much cleaner view point for taking pictures, AKA, no junk in the way. That is the biggest issue with Fostoria, tight photo angles and not the best of backdrop for photos. Fostoria has been my favorite spot for railfanning for 40 years however, I do miss the old blue boat "Eriestible" that sat in the parking lot of the meatpacking plant from the first time that I visited Fostoria.

Are you able to aim the camera & take photos via smartphone?  I ask because I know some of the older quadcopters really only allowed you to put the camera on timer (Taking a photo every 15 sec) and you take what you get.
