Eastern Railroad Discussion > OOPS a Little Too Far BackDate: 11/24/15 12:23 OOPS a Little Too Far Back Author: jmbreitigan While out on an errand today I passed by a frac sand facility near Eighty Four, PA. While going by I noticed that one of the red bumpers at the end of two tracks did not look right. I pulled in the entrance way and scampered over and took two quick photos and left. It must have been one heck of a bump to bend the rail.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Jim Hatboro, PA Date: 11/24/15 17:33 Re: OOPS a Little Too Far Back Author: jim6300loco Back in the old days when the railroads still had firemen in the cab (diesel Era Too) the Engineer would say to the Fireman "Watch the Bump!" and then CABAM! I was in many a cab when that happened and you got thrown a few feet if you didn't brace yourself. Neat pics John.

And this happened about a month ago.
