Eastern Railroad Discussion > Three from DurandDate: 02/05/16 17:50 Three from Durand Author: jkh2cpu 1. The handy-talkie informed me that there was some activity in
Durand as I approached the Village today, so I stopped in town and grabbed this shot. It's not my choice of lighting, but I liked the effect. That depot is a strong element here. 2 & 3. Later in the day we were hearing chatter on the GLC channel, and sure enough, they came to town, switched a bit in the yard, and then headed south. John Breitigan Date: 02/06/16 05:01 Re: Three from Durand Author: jkh2cpu You're right about the new signals. They started going in
over a year ago, and they finally came on line back in the middle of October, 2015. I like to include them in my Durand shots -- they make a great prop. The red over green indicates that this train is lined to take the old Ann Arbor down at Pitt, seen in the distance. John. |
