Anyone know where it goes to? It runs xNYC towards Selkirk. Just wondering who recieves that grain.

The two most likely destinations I can think of are the grain mill up the hill in Hudson, NY, and New England Milling in Ayer, MA. But that doesn't mean there aren't other possibilities, such as the Port of Albany.
 

Grain only for Pizza flour comes to the Claverack Branch in Greenport, NY, 2 miles east of Hudson, NY. Two or three unit trains arrive per week and usually require 3 RT to get one unit to the mill.  It climbs away from the Hudson station up the steepest track in New England RR except Washington County RR in VT, serving Rock of Ages.
This is a former track of the B&A which was built by the Hudson & Berkshire R R in 1837 as wood rail 2.5”x 5/8” flat bar rail used until 1847.  The flower mill was reconfigured from a plant of International Cement Company that owned a Heisler locomotive which used to haul the limestone rock to the same mill.

Have been running with G05? ID. I would put the frequency at two or three a week.

Both Cargill and Ardent Mills are very active at the Port of Albany. There are at least a few unit grain trains per month to the Port of Albany via CSX. One was just unloaded this past week. Most of these tend to be BNSF grain trains. In addition grain arrives in non unit trains.

G053 is the Eastbound symbol...V053 is the Westbound Empty Symbol.
