1.  A CN merchandise train from Kirk Yard enters Griffith IN on the former EJ&E main line.  The train will follow the "J" west to Matteson, thence south on the CN's former IC main toward Kankakee. 2-9-16

2.  A CSX westbound off the Garrett Subdivision utilizes trackage rights over the NS Chicago Line through Whiting IN, on its way to Belt Railway of Chicago's Clearing Yard.  2-9-16

3.  Amtrak Train #49, the "Lake Shore Limited," led by "Veterans" P42 #42, backs toward the equipment servicing yard at 14th Street after being turned on the wye. 2-10-16

4.  CSX L090-10, the joint UP-CSX perishable train to the Railex facility near Schnectady NY, passes through Riverdale IL behind UP's Southern Pacific heritage unit #1996.

5.  Metra power for the afternoon rush pulls out of the west end of the commuter yard ipreparing to be attached to outbound trains.

6.  With Chicago's Loop[ as a backdrop, a BNSF to CN Consumers Energy (Michigan) unit coal train ascends the ramp to the St. Charles Air Line in this view from "MH" Tower.

The only sunny shot of the UP 1996 that I have seen posted on it's recent trip over the CSX.  Good catch(s).
