As promised, here are a couple of pics from my trip last weekend to HSC.  The view is vastly improved - both from the ground below and from the viewing area above.   I realized that when I reviewed my photos, I really didn't take that many of just the trains as corralling a 2 year-old and 2 older kids consumed my time - but that's ok!    Anyway, here are 2 views - one of my boy, and one looking upgrade.  The view looking downgrade is just as clear and year can see clearly at least to the signal bridge.

Nice pics! Good to seea future railfan in training. Beertrain and Dan Schlegel and I will be spending our annual raifan weekend at the Station Inn in two weeks. we'll have to check out the curve again. The last couple of years we avodided it due all the foilage.

My first visit there was last summer...I was rather disappointed.  Looks like it's greatly improved now.
