RBBB Blue Unit Circus Train - according to people on board, as of 2:40 pm the train was at this location .... "On the BAK LINE MILEPOST 72" - on the Philadelphia sub - 15 miles from the Baltimore Terminal.

Wonder where the BUCT met the Strates show?  Any photo of that meet will be fantastic for the history books.

Was said to be in Baltimore around 3pm for southbound crew-change; no word on how far they've gotten since then -- but MARC and VRE traffic may be affected by this massive train which is about 20 cars LONGER than Amtrak's Auto Train.  RBBB Blue is several hours late due to freight traffic delays in the Northeast; the show is pushing CSX to get them through ASAP..... has anyone seen this move south out of Baltimore AND/OR Washington DC yet?

An answer to THAT question comes from another website - just in:  "....Should be on the Alexandria Extension. BC said they were good to Benning where they'd talk to the yardmaster."  Now, let's hope the dispatcher punches them right through onto the RF&P Subdivision and sends them south .... they're still hoping to make up some lost time.  CSX may fleet them south behind the Silver Star (P091) and Auto Train (P053); 'anyone hearing more from the D.C./northern Virginia area on that possibility?

Train has STOPPED at Benning Yard, perhaps waiting for Amtrak 91 and other VRE trains to get south first, and maybe a northbound freight to get by Benning (and thru the Va. Ave. Tunnel) before going south -- but that's a GUESS at this point on my part.  Maybe they're just waiting to follow Amtrak 91, the Silver Star south out of D.C.  (Again, 'a guess on my part.)

To rbx551985....have you posted this train consist here on TO before? I was trying to log it at Wilsmere since it was going thru the siding, noting what types of cars they were and if the passenger cars had six wheel trucks. I should have stayed at the east end where a 10mph slow order had it going slow enuf to write car numbers, but it is dicey sitting there at the best spot at the cleaners, the manager is nasty and hates trains and does not understand why anyone would like them. I get TRAINS mag and know they covered these trains a while back and may have a roster of cars. Thanks. Just give me appx back date and I'll go back and search.

I'll post the car roster tomorrow; I don't have enough time on this library computer tonight to get that done.  "Stay tuned...."

We are told by at least one CSX employee that this stop may be to feed/water the animals aboard --- although that's not "confirmed" as such yet.

Thanks much RBX551985. No hurry please. Do it when you have amply time, and I will appreciate it more then. Even weeks. Just curious.

Per the Curcus Train Tracker group, the train was by Jesup, GA at 6:30am. According to chatter, it will be taking the CSX "S Line" through Baldwin, Ocala, Wildwood, Plant City and Tampa.
