Headed to Scranton, PA in search of a C424
Author: BrianA

Next week I'll be spending a few days at Scranton, PA.  My main goal for there is to find and photograph Delaware-Lackawana C424 2403 which is a former SP&S Alco and wears a nice green, yellow and black paint scheme.  In all the photos I have seen of it, the 2403 is always at Scranton, the last photo of it taken in September 2015.  Any info on if it is still in service or stored?  And of course has anyone seen it recently.

A photo posted on that other Rail Picture site that we all love to hate shows it in the consist of PT-98 at the Water Gap on April 30th, so it would appear to be in service.

It is in service. Can be on any train on any given day.

It's not a very big haystack.
