ALCO Action on Earth Day - M&E MO-1
Author: PennRailVideos

On Friday April 22nd, 2016, Penn Rail Videos followed the Morristown & Erie Railway's "MO-1" Job for the good part of the day. Power for the day is ALCO C424 #18, built originally for the Toledo Peoria & Western in 1964 as their #800.

We'll first catch the MO-1 on the former Dover & Rockaway Branch in several locations. This a former CNJ Branch. Later on, the MO-1 will head west on the New Jersey Transit Morris & Essex Line, the former Lackawanna Mainline from Hoboken to Scranton.

What better way to spend Earth Day, than by spending it with an old ALCO still working hard in the 21st Century? It doesn't get much cooler than this.
