Eastern Railroad Discussion > Signal/diamond work at Rochelle, ILDate: 05/05/16 08:39 Signal/diamond work at Rochelle, IL Author: airman65 I guess I just wondered what's going on....Looks like it's signal related and maybe they're just doing routine maintenance on the diamond. I'm sure someone here will probably know....With the magnitude of this work, would the RR post flaggers or would they just depend on signals and dispatchers to keep things safe...?

It is not a stretch to believe that the railroad would establish working limits to protect the maintenance crews.
