Northbound Amtrak 90 blasts through Parkton, NC at track speed on the CSX A-line while my Fairmont MT-14 and a friend's Fairmont M-19 rest on the adjacent Red Springs & Northern Railroad.  It was a fine day to get the motorcars out and travel the 26 mile round trip on the RS&N rails, 5/26/16.

No, the FM unit was sold a couple of years ago to a steel fabricator in Fuquay-Varina, NC to be used as an industrial switcher.  Not sure if it's in service yet.
