Loaded Grain Train bound for unloading at Ardent Mills out past Willow Rd on the east side of Ayer is arriving Friday 9AM. Although LGT is being led by the usual assortment of Warren Buffet locomotivies, it does have a pair of CSX SD70MACs leading an AC6000. People at right will have to wait a few minutes to get to the MBTA platform as PAR conductor splits the train to park half the train on barely visible "W Main St" siding where they are standing. Inbound T train arrives as half the train is parked. Finally two halves of the grain train are parked awaiting a break in the T action to head to Ardent Mills.

Photo #3 brings back so many memories of visits to the tower 55+ years ago when there were B&M E-7's, F-7's Geeps and RDC's passing by.  (I can't recall seeing any Alco products in the neighborhood)
