Nice pics.  Good composition and lighting.  Are there any other diesels in "regular excursion" that are older?    Hard to believe 76 years old!

I was never lucky enough to see a B&O SW-1 in that paint but saw many other B&O switchers painted that way. Brings back lots of nice memory's. Beautiful.

Not only does it look good but it is completely mechanically rebuilt as well, along with much steel replacement and electrical rebuilding over the last 4 years, by McHugh Locomotive. McHugh donated a good amount of parts to help this project along, but there was also a significant financial outlay by the W&W/HRCV for this restoration, which is fully paid off.

Pretty impressive rebuild of this loco from an operation that was essentially wiped of the map by hurricanes not once but twice between 1999 and 2003.

W&W's other SW-1, EX Lehigh Valley #114, also dates from 1940.

Look for 0-6-0 #58 to return to operation later this year.

Good things always happening in rail preservation in the First State

Note the operable former B&O semaphore standing trackside, I believe which is originally from the B&O's West Branch into Wilmington.

There are videos of 98 passing this very semaphore back in the 1980's when en route to downtown Wilmington for "Transportation Day".
