Eastern Railroad Discussion > 13R derailment in HarrisburgDate: 05/31/16 15:53 13R derailment in Harrisburg Author: mp109 Around noon today 13R derailed in Harrisburg as it rounded the curve from the Pittsburgh line to the Lurgan line. Cars are laying on their sides on the inside of the curve. The Amtrak connection was blocked so that no. 42 arrived almost 3 hours late and no. 43 left almost an hour late. They had to pull the rear end of the train onto the Buffalo line to get it out of the way. It had 2 DODX cabooses on the rear end.

From what I know of the area, this incident probably boogered up traffic to and from the Harrisburg line. Thanks, Dan Posted from iPhone Date: 05/31/16 16:27 Re: 13R derailment in Harrisburg Author: onblock dschlegel Wrote:
