Steamtown's "Heritage Express" with a train load of school kids from the Carbondale area arrive at "Bridge 60" to be given a tour, and train ride at Steamtown to show them the railroad heritage of the area, meanwhile there is an over under meet between Delaware Lackawanna Alco RS-3 4118 on the former D&H trackage, on top Steamtown's Nickel Plate Road EMD. GP-9 crosses over on the former Delaware Lackawanna & Western, as TV news WBRE captures the event. Now that's heritage for you. October 2000.
