Eastern Railroad Discussion > "The D&H"Date: 06/30/16 12:23 "The D&H" Author: m1bprr October of 2002 we are on what’s left of the Delaware & Hudson Railway riding a Steamtown special out of Carbondale eventually to Scranton.
This portion of the old D&H is now operated by the Delaware Lackawanna; the locomotive is an Alco RS-3 #4118 which is a D&H original. The whistle is a Hancock model 4700 air whistle, actually, the D&H RS-3's were delivered with a Nathan M3 RT1 which the 4118 carry's now a days. Ed K.
