I liked Centralia a whole lot better when it was IC, steam and the full roundhouse/shops were there.

Nice catch.  Did work from woodcrest/homewood get moved to Centralia?   I remember IC painting and repairing units at woodcrest, but looks like Centralia does more major repairs and overhauls?   Thought the two locations are pretty close to each other.

Thanks for these interesting shots. In this era of cutbacks, I wonder about shops like that staying open. It isn't so far from Chicago, and I wonder when CN will decide to cram everything in one place.
