Has anyone else noticed how bad the track thru Fostoria on the B&O is looking these days?

I could say lots of things about this situation but I won't.

and farmer gets paid to maintain the railroad RofW, so if he's agreeing then you know it's not that greatĀ

I wouldn't blame you! I can relate to a smaller scale.

I was a visitor from the UK to Fostoria in June, the condition of the C&O track was just as bad. The ballast was full of weeds and other crops from passing leaking cars, cannot do anything for the drainage. Having been a visitor for the past 5 years the overall track condition in Fostoria is not what it was. The diamond of the NS / C&O on Columbus Avenue had bolts hanging out of positionĀ and the NS tracks had a very bad dip in the grade crossing which was probably moving up and down approximatly 4 to 6 inches with the passing of each car and you could see mud all over the ballast. Did not see any maintenance workers on this diamond for the whole time I was a visitor.
