NYC Heritage and a Navy Copter

This is last nights NYC seen coming thru Amherst Ohio with the sun dropping fast.On the 22nd I was waiting for the Conrail to come thru Lorain and this Navy Helicopter zoomed by at a fast pace heading towards Cleveland Ohio.

As a 23 year Navy vet, we called 'em eggbeaters, helos, whirlybirds, etc. After all, helicopters do not fly. They just beat the air into submission!

That H53 is huge...remember seeing them land on my carrier in the Med several times....seemed the helo would roll the ship over to the port side....just a huge piece of metal.....
