Some stuff in Erie, PA last Saturday...
Author: MC6853

Took a trip to the Erie, PA area yesterday (08/27/2016)... Some highlights of what I saw...

1: NS train 309 parked in the siding at Ripley, NY... Engines include UP8241, NS2701, NS2656...
2-4: Power sitting on the EEC-NS interchange track, including BNSF610, GECX2038, and GECX2042...

More to come...

4-5: More shots of the GE trio on the NS-EEC interchange track...
6: FEC 801 and fuel tender inside the plant; shot is taken at a red light at a nearby intersection...

More to come...

Last three...

7: 309 is finally on the move, heading west at South Brickyard Road west of North East...
8: Piece of Loram equipment in the consist of 309...
9: 309's trailing unit on the EEC track, picking up the GECX units... Apparently they weren't picking up BNSF610, and had to set it out; no idea where the GECX units are going...

Thanks for taking a look...

It looks like BNSF #610 has been converted to a "C4."  Gerry

One more shot for the heck of it... Q166 at the endangered Bort Road bridge in North East...

VAC TRAIN used by MW crews usually used to suck out mud spots in areas where water and drainage are an issue
