NS 1067 a Mirage?
Author: RDG630

So, I am guessing the NS RDG 1067 has just dissapeared into the wilds of Indiana and will never appear in eastern Pennsylvania again.

Others can confirm this, but I think those units on the coal trains in Indiana, stay there for a while.   If I remember correctly, the Conrail unit was there for a real long time before it was in more a general freight service.   Sort of how the LV unit has been in pusher service for a long time for a couple of spells.

And we're going to make sure that 4002 and 4004 are bad ordered and held for local service in Fremont NE (if they
ever get here).

LOL  I am surprised that NS let those units head out west after being in service for a short period of time.  Their first "run"  I believe was Sept 15th as a light engine move.

I'm surprised as well though the train they're assigned to gets regular NS run through power to South Dakota but
so far nothing as exotic as this, guess the NS has faith in their work.
