Thanks to the CVSR and NKP 767 - Part Two
Author: refarkas

Thanks again to the CVSR and NKP 767 and its crew for "Steam in the Valley 2016". Here are three images from today's (September 25, 2016) afternoon trip. Images two and three were from the darkside because I had less than a minute before the train arrived.
Image one: NKP 767 is in Peninsula, Ohio being towed north towards Boston Mills. The CVSR "Salem Inn" is part of the regularly scheduled southbound train which was on the siding waiting for the special to pass on its northbound journey..
Image two: Southbound NKP 767 passes over the Cascade Locks bridge in Akron, Ohio. Soon she would arrive at CVSR's Akron Northside Station, and this year's "Steam in the Valley" would be over.
Image three: CVSR 6771 (Ex-CN 6771/VIA 6771) is being towed behind NKP 767's train. CVSR 6771 would then pull NKP 767 and its train north after the passengers had departed at Akron Northside Station.

I like that contrast of light on the bridge pier and shadows on the train. Nice images.
