Turbine blades-long ride and more to go

Here you go , caught this in Folkston Ga. on the 27th of August, its in 2 parts, any normal train   I would have got at Baldwin Fl. but this was to big for that location

There's one on the move now, W246.  It's currently rolling across the Florida panhandle.

W246-27 by Aucilla, FL at 09:32.  He should have UP 4708 and UP 5975 for power.

Nice video - how long are those blades.  Does a train like this have to take a specific route?  I would imagine curves could be an issue.

Thanks for the video comment, Trainorders thought so too and notified me it is the Video of the Day, As far as I know the blades are 104 or 114 ft long (from the model kit I bought) but going by the video I think the cars are 50 footers and 104 / 114 would be close, these blades went to Portsmouth Va. and the Portsmouth Belt Line RR, in the article linked in this thread someone on that RR said something like 184 feet long, I think is wrong, as far as special routing I don't think so, They take a pretty good curve in Baldwin Fl. with no problem ,(and I'm sure other places too), Ed
