Eastern Railroad Discussion > Let's place a bet on newly re-painted CSX freight cars.....Date: 09/27/16 10:36 Let's place a bet on newly re-painted CSX freight cars..... Author: rbx551985 Just how long will they stay FRESH in their [new clothes]? With graffiti running rampit around America these days likely due to today's youth having idle hands (which the Bible warns us about being "the Devil's work"), how long might we bet they'll STAY this way? This photo of newly re-painted fifty-foot boxcar, CSXT 138331, passing through Richmond, Va. a few days ago, was captured by Sauron Fisher:

Author: EL-SD45-3632 Like other roads, you would think that CSX would be smart to have their reporting marks high on the car as not to worry about the taggers however, this is CSX...

Because every other road has them where...? Posted from Android Date: 09/27/16 17:46 Re: Let's place a bet on newly re-painted CSX freight cars..... Author: Benched_it I've noticed the lack of new graffiti lately. Sure it's tons of it still riding the rails,
but I've only seen about five freshly painted pieces in the last couple months. Unless it's a wholecar I don't even waste my time flicking graffiti anymore, it's all old stuff and toys... Numbers closer to eye level are easier for workers to read in poor light, heavy rain, etc. More likely to be visible from the shack window if the track is close. |
