A productive day on the INRD and CSX
Author: Shooter

Saturday I took a drive down to the INRD with a retired railroader. The plan was to catch the southbound SEHW train on Tulip Trestle. The SEHW was delayed for a present surprise which was a INRD customer appreciation train. Also we were able to photograph INRD 9025, the 25th anniversary locomotive, leading an empty coal hopper train. 1st photo taken at the Tulip Trestlt. 2nd photo  in the 9025 pulling the empty coal hopper train towards Sullivan, IN. 3rd photo is the 9025 southbound for Oaktown, IN on the CSX line.

Great trio. Really like the INDR. Also good to see as I had "heard" the MACs were gone.

4 of the MACS are gone, leaving 10 still on the roster.  They are the only power handling the Indy to Hiawatha traffic.

They are both short line railroads,, so yes, it is an original paint scheme...

It's the freakin Rio Grande scheme with (most of the time) a different name on it. I think it looks teriffic, but it's a copy.
