Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS Heritage Unit Going AwayDate: 10/26/16 12:53 NS Heritage Unit Going Away Author: RDG630 I don't usually photograph NS heritage units unless they are leading a train but I made an exception Monday because there have been a paltry few on NS's Reading Line (in daylight at least) lately and I spent two weeks in California so I am heritage unit deprived. Thus, here is NS 8114, the Norfolk Southern heritage unit is trailing on 20K approaching Alburtis, Pa with a dramatic sky.

are exceptions, like this one. That's a great photo of a colorful unit, made all the better by the skies. Thanks for posting. Date: 10/27/16 14:25 Re: NS Heritage Unit Going Away Author: CCMF It's the digital age and film cost is not an issue. Everything is worth one frame "just because".
