Date: 10/27/16 17:59 Re: 3 NS F Units at Cresson Steel Author: algoma11 The Ontario Southland Railway was looking for a B-unit, I wonder if they know!

Posted from iPhone Date: 10/28/16 04:36 Re: 3 NS F Units at Cresson Steel Author: junctiontower No, they were purchased during the Moorman era to be rebuilt into additional units. They sat at Altoona for quite some time, but were never touched. With Moorman's retirement and the economic downturn for the railroad, the plan died.

One was converted to a slug, which I believe is the 1019, the other remained a working unit unitl retirement. Not sure if the 1019 kept her prime mover after slug conversion.
