More Oldies - Spartanburg, SC & Harpers Ferry, WV

1. Northbound Southern Ry. freight passes Spartanburg, SC depot in February 1983.
2. Eastbound CSX "Trailer Jet" passes westbound manifest in Harpers Ferry, WV as rear end crew gets a "crummy" ride in August 1981.

What's that object sticking out of the roof at Harpers Ferry? It almost looks like some homemade trainorders light.

The conductor is watching as if he was expecting to catch something from a hoop stick.
