NS 188-02 with NS INRD SD90MAC/ NS 41N with INRD as well.
Author: NS_8101_Kyle

On Friday Dec. 2nd, I got a last minute heads up about NS 188 having a NS 7336 which was one of the INRD SD90MAC's. Here are the photos of it. The locations of where it was shot are as follwed, Columbus,OH Sandusky District  Cooke RD; Valley Crossing ; and Circleville,OH. Then this past Sunday I got word that the NS 7337 another INRD was leading NS 41N. The location that for 41N was just at Cooke Rd. I believe that this is the first time that both of these have led a road train.

And for those wondering why an empty grain train (#41N) was going to Buffalo, which doesn't originate any grain: the cars were to go into storage there.

Odd time of year to store grain cars.

I'd imagine the grain season has turned out lower than NS has expected to. Word on the street that oil will be going back up again by rail per a facebook group.

They have ran several 41N's up the Pokey, are they putting that many cars away?

The 41N symbol does not necessarily mean that the cars are going to storage. NS seems to use empty grain symbols quite often based on the point of origin, not the destination. One previous 41N within the past month or two went to Michigan to be loaded.
