First train of 2017 on New Years Day
Author: agrafton

On New Year day it was a crystal clear day and no wind a day made for drones...: o )My wife and I had all our family “doings” behind us and went for a ride ended up out at Willard about forty miles west of where we live.Didn’t expect to see many trains  but we did. we were only gone about five hours and managed to get some quality photos, on the groundand from the air. This video is an e/b freight crossing FeatheringGil Rd, heading for the west end of Willard Yard and the block swap area. A colorful lashup andat the end an w/b Coke train passes. Several other videos to follow

Thanks,  Alan

At CSX servicing facility at the east end sits CSX Train, L382,
with 7 old CSX engines facing east and will leave for Pan Am Railways in Massachusetts.Pam Am will probably rebuils some for their use.

Thanks John, Willard is a big yard and hopefully I'll be able to get out more this year.
