Where is this B&O bridge?

Pulled from that auction site. I tried to look for curved B&O bridges with little luck. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure this is Pleasant Creek Viaduct on the Cowen Sub just a bit south of Grafton, WV.

I agree with P-Mike on this.

Having looked at it again, I'm almost 99% certain. The curve is right and the location of the road in the valley is also inj the right spot. It's a great shot. The angle from which it was done isn't possible any longer due to tree growth.

I also think it looks like the Peach Creek viaduct

Yes, operated by A&O, unfortunately not nearly as busy as it used to be due to closures of many of the on line mines.

Apparent location

Just a mile north, the bridge is out: Gone

This appears to mean no trains anymore on the Pleasent Creek bridge.

Is that a tunnel a mile to the North?  I thought there appeared to be concrete portals.

Thats Pleasant Creek trestle on the cowen sub about 9 miles south of Grafton. Now operated by the A&O Railroad. There is a tunnel about a mile south of the bridge and another tunnel about a mile north of the bridge. The bridge was built in the 1930's as part of the track relocation project when Grafton Dam was built.

The gap in the tracks you see a mile to the north is Knight Tunnel.

As noted, the line is operated by the A&O and is very in service. They still handle occasional coal trains and also have a number of smaller merchandise costomers along the line.
