Date: 01/19/17 06:38 Re: Where is this B&O bridge? Author: DJ-12 Having looked at it again, I'm almost 99% certain. The curve is right and the location of the road in the valley is also inj the right spot. It's a great shot. The angle from which it was done isn't possible any longer due to tree growth.

Just a mile north, the bridge is out: Gone This appears to mean no trains anymore on the Pleasent Creek bridge. Date: 01/19/17 10:49 Re: Where is this B&O bridge? Author: bq23dash7 Is that a tunnel a mile to the North? I thought there appeared to be concrete portals.
John Date: 01/19/17 11:23 Re: Where is this B&O bridge? Author: bridgeportsub Thats Pleasant Creek trestle on the cowen sub about 9 miles south of Grafton. Now operated by the A&O Railroad. There is a tunnel about a mile south of the bridge and another tunnel about a mile north of the bridge. The bridge was built in the 1930's as part of the track relocation project when Grafton Dam was built.

The gap in the tracks you see a mile to the north is Knight Tunnel. As noted, the line is operated by the A&O and is very in service. They still handle occasional coal trains and also have a number of smaller merchandise costomers along the line. Date: 01/19/17 11:50 Re: Where is this B&O bridge? Author: nydepot Thank you for the clarification.
