What is / was the CCN Columbus Cleveland and Northern Railway?
Author: tq-07fan

Delaware Ohio in June I rode the DATA Buses around town. I got off on Central Ave where the former Big 4. NYC. PC, CR, now CSXT crosses. On the one station building was a sign for CCN Columbus Cleveland and Northern Railway. Across the tracks were two passenger cars. What is / was the CCN Columbus Cleveland and Northern Railway?

1) DATA Bus crossing Central Ave, notice those plastic flashers Conrail installed at crossings on the Columbus Division in the early 1980's are still in use.
2) Passenger cars on the RR north or compass west side of the tracks, north of Central Ave.
3) Building with the CCN Columbus Cleveland and Northern Railway sign. It was For Sale so the CCN may no longer exist.

Seems to be private ownership by a local car dealer thats big in Lionel.  Private cars were used to give train rides in 2010-2012. RPN info from 2013. Go to bottom of postings for info.
