NS 12G with CP and BNSF
Author: PRR-Lewistown

NS 12G just went east thru. Lewistown at 1:41 pm with 9388 leading, CP 8549, and BNSF 6525. The CP and BNSF are nose to nose.

Does the 12G power normally stay on for the new 32G?

From what I've seen in the past, the answer is No.  Colorful lashups like the one mentioned come off, and NS power goes on.  I'm assuming some of it has to do with Amtrak NEC power restrictions (locos have to be equipped with cab signals).
