Eastern Railroad Discussion > Grinstein in 2017Date: 01/21/17 20:03 Grinstein in 2017 Author: TrainCatcher I didn't think that I would be shooting any more BNSF SD70MAC "Grinstein" units since I haven't seen one on the point in over a year and only a couple in trail. Today's eastbound CSX autorack train Q208 had the lone 9815 in pretty decent shape. Shown here at EE SDI near St. Joe, Indiana on the Garrett Sub.

Nice to see one out and about- when I came over last summer, most of the ones In saw were in store in places such as Alliance NE, Ravenna, Donkey Creek WY and Galesburg IL. to name a few. I saw no 9400''s and 9500's active. Maybe with your wonderful new President scrapping some of the restrictions on coal, a few more may come out of the storage lines.
