Monongahela across the NS Memphis District
Author: WSOR506

NS 8025, the Monongahela heritage unit, made a trip across the Memphis district on Friday. It was the lead unit on #201, a Rutherford, PA to Rossville (Memphis), TN intermodal train. I was fortunate to get a couple decent photos of it.

First, at Pride Siding, AL, MP 415
Second, west of Cherokee, AL, MP 424.8

Thanks for looking!!

Nice pics. Last summer it spent a few months on the Chicago Line in intermodal service.  After the 5th time seeing this one, I called it the "Chicago Line's name for a female dog".  Saw it 4 more times.

Great pics there!!  Back in the day I would have businees in Memphis and drive US 72 and capture ah many a PRB Coal Drags on that line. Question??
How long has that line been signaled?  Are both lines in/out of Sheffield signaled? To Memphis / To Stephenson?
Again nice catch
