Trainfest at Thompsontown,PA...well kind of.

Spent a whole day along the NS Pittsburgh Line at Thompsontown,PA yesterday and overall had a pretty good day. I apologize for not mentioning what each train symbol is......I just like shooting photo's.

I did start off using my Canon DSLR for still picture's, then I started shooting video with it. I then started to make use of my camera phone for the picture's later on which it does pretty good as well.

For some unknown reason I never took a picture of the Amtrak and had to go back into my video and do a snapshot of it.

Caught a bit of UP color as well. The 3rd pic of the group I caught one of the SD70ACU's and tried some experimenting on the picture which didn't turn out too great.

Last but not least....whle my DSLR was still doing video,the memory card got full and the battery was about dead. So I had to keep relying on my camera phone to keep trying to take decent images of a nice sunset and just didn't do so hot with the train. Next time it won't happen.

Well a couple of train buffs stopped in where was near the end of the day said and they got 23 trains which sounds about right.
