Eastern Railroad Discussion > White River Jct. Vermont questionDate: 02/21/17 06:19 White River Jct. Vermont question Author: NS4271 Any freight trains passing through during the day at WRJ?
I plan to head up that way sometime soon. Thanks. Date: 02/21/17 08:19 Re: White River Jct. Vermont question Author: pennsy3750 You need a program to keep track of NECR movements these days, but IIRC the current scheme of things (which could change at any time) is for 324 to be a morning departure out of WRJ for a round trip to Palmer.
There's definitely a night local of of WRJ that works as far south as North Walpole/Bellows Falls, and I think there's a daytime local as well but I'm not certain. Again, subject to change at any time. Date: 02/21/17 10:48 Re: White River Jct. Vermont question Author: kgmontreal VRS (WACR) north to and from Newport, Vermont runs in daylight. But how often is another question.
