Eastern Railroad Discussion > White River Jct, VT........1964Date: 02/27/17 13:31 White River Jct, VT........1964 Author: cinder Its about zero on a late Sunday afternoon in February 1964 at White River Jct., VT. Six "Budd cars" are about to take "Dartmouth dates" back to Boston after Winter Carnival weekend in nearby Hanover, NH. This train is a Dartmouth Winter Carnival special that delivered female pulchritude in bulk on Thursday night and gathered it up on Sunday for the return to civilization.

Hmm, I had to look that one up. Solid word choice, and great photo too! - Jeff Carlson Date: 02/27/17 15:35 Re: White River Jct, VT........1964 Author: mp208 Since its Vermont, wouldn't "heifers" suffice instead of pulchritude?

Lol. Nice shot that brings back memories of my childhood on the B&M Western Route. Don't believe they ever ran more than an 8-car Budd train during rush hour.
