Chased NS 098 Exports Pakistan Railways - Youngstown Line 3/13/17
Author: cornerfieldhobby

I will upload 3 photos a day. I have a total of 70 photos I took. So for the next 21 days after today I'll be uploading all the photos I took from today Monday March 13th, 2017. Anyway, I seen NKP715's post about NS 098. So I ventured out along the Youngstown Line. First stop was 322, but waited 2 hours and I decided to head north and load an behold, a light for a southbound. Anyway, here are the first 3 from Ayers Road south of Dorset Ohio. What you'll note about tomorrow's photos from this location is, there are Crossbucks, not Gates. Anyway, the units are 9 GEU-40'S ES43ACi's for PR Pakistan Railway #9027, #9024, #9028, #9025, #9029, #9032, #9031, #9030 & #9026. The first 9 TTX flatcars a are the bogey trucks for these nnits & the other 9 Heavy Duty 90' QTTX & DTTEX Flatcars with the units. This train is lead by 2 EMD's Electro Motive Division NS Horsehead SD70M #2628 & NS Horshead SD70ACe #1164. Do to he had a Restricting 25MPH Slow Order do to a Special Load and Ashtabula County Ohio country road speed limits are 55MPH, I was able to get ahead of him a lot. So again, over the next 21 days after today being the 1 day so a total of 22 days, I'll have them complete by Monday April 3rd, 2017. Only problem I had, I had my scanner with me and I could not pick up them speaking along this line. What the frequency for this line? And finally, once all my photos are uploaded, I will post the videos I recorded while taking the photos as well. It will be a 14 minute video, but will show all the crossing the same exact way I took the photos. Anyway, please enjoy the photos.

Jeff - (FEC2000) chased him from 322 down to north of Brookfield. So if he was still joined with TO's, I know he would be sharing his photos as well. He was also taking video as well. I was at all the crossing's he mostly was at as well. Except for Ayers Road and in Hubbard where my last photo is at.

Also, I posted a link to a Model Railroad website I posted the video of these units to - http://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/topic/chased-3-13-17-ns-098-with-ge-exports-pakistan-railways-es43aci-s-ns-youngstown-line-from-dorset-to-hubbard-ohio

Well here's the next 3 photos. Still from Ayers Road. Now you can see there are just crossbucks. Problem I see is, even though is a dirt road, the track behind the camera curves do south, so if there's a northbound coming around that curve, you only have a limited amount of time. By this Thursday, you'll see what I'm talking about with that curve.

Each day I'll be adding 3 photos. So tomorrow I'll have 3 more and though's 3 will include the units. But since you did ask, here are the next 3, I was going to post tomorrow. Anyway, that's the only 3 extra I will do. I just wanted to make it fun to add 3 photos a day till April 3rd. As for these 3 photos below, these are still at Ayers Road in Dorset. Tomorrow's 3 photos, 2 of the 3 will show the fronts of the PR Units.

Also at the top of this topic I posted a link to a Model Railroad website I posted the video to. Anyway here's the link here also -

May I make a friendly suggestion? Choose the 5 best photos. I don't think we need to see all 70 photos that you took!

There's a lot to be said for editing.  Several good photographers have said that they became "good" not because of all of the photos they didn't take, but because of the photos they never showed...

I understand what you mean, but I'm still going with 3 a day. I just want to add to the fun. But yes, I know there are some real good photos I took, but I just want to upload 3 a day. I do hope you understand what I mean. Also during the week I have quite a few things to do, so generally I'm not on TO's 24/7. I generally check the sight morning and afternoon and towards evening. About 3 times a day. Maybe sometimes 1 a day. So that's why I post 3 a day. Because I have 58 photos to go, I will just post in the order I took them. Anyway, I just want to help to anwser your question.

That's a lot of work for the US plants which assembled and manufactured the parts. Quality work, supported by a favorable export financing structure.

I haven't uploaded in 3 days. So I'll have 12 photos this evening. Top 2 are still at Route 322. The next 5 are still in Williamsfield / Wick Ohio but are along Hayes Road 1.5 miles south of 322. And the next 5 are from Route 87 in Gustavus / Kinsman Ohio.
