K19 is an extra H19.
This one had 65 empty tank cars plus the 2 buffer cars at each end.
First photo is prior to departing Lancaster, PA.
Second and third photos  are at Columbia, PA.

Despite the overcast skies those first two images are really nicely done.

Agree about quality work on a grubby day.  Where does k19 go?  Why would it use GPs.

K19 is an extra H19 on a Saturday, when regular H19 does not run.
Crew (who I know) was taking the 65 empty tank cars to Enola.  Then other power will be put on the empties at Enola  and head west.  And  the K19 crew will head back to Lancaster lite with the 3  GP38's.

Bruce, Where  or who gets train loads of Oil in Lancaster?  Kinda curious as to why there would be 65 mt down that way.  Thanks,  nice shots ya got thar.   Ben
