.   .   .    spent spring break visiting the grand girls in Eastern Board territory, a few grabs this past week;
top: An NS yard job was switchinig out the west end of the old SOU yard on the east side of Memphis, TN.
middle: An eastbound stack train was departing the east end of the old SOU yard on the east side of Memphis, TN.
bottom: Iowa Pacific E's just sitting out in the open in Batesville, MS, no fence, no guard and thankfully no grafettii.

.   .   .   on the return trip to MS from Memphis checked out the Granada Railway at a few places along the way finally lucking out in Granada on the old IC passenger main catching a job heading south out of town at a few locations close to town .

.   .   .   today before returning to McComb, MS checked out the KCS High Oak Yard facility in Pearl on the east side of Jackson, MS shooting a little of this and that as a NS UP runthrough intermodal passed through town.  Anyone know the story on the pair of exBNSF PRLX units that have been together all over the KCS system?

That's exactly what I thought! 

I think the 75M's were leased/borrowed from Progress to fill in for the KCS SD70MAC's that have been getting electrical modifications at the Progress shop here in Georgia (and maybe in KY as well).
Great bunch of photos from some seldom seen territory.  Thanks for sharing.
