1. An eastbound CSX manifest has activated the lights & gates at the N 1950th St crossing just east of Teutopolis, IL on the rainy evening of March 13, 2017. *Stay tuned. Yessir, 100%! I was headed into Effingham to find a motel for the night. I spotted the train coming the other way and doubled back to this crossing. I had seen the dark gates & lights and knew I could try for some kind of artsy shot. The effect of the rain-produced shine on the pavement was an unexpected bonus... |
