If it was not for John Enders I would not have been in live steam. I got hold of a not to good engine and John rebuilt it for me. After he worked on it, it ran like a top., It was an oil burner and the first day I ran it, I got on it at 8am, ran till noon, ate lunch, got right back on it, ran till supper, then ran till 11pm that night. Had very sore butt, but I was a very happy man. Lot of good memories down there. Track is now gone, John is in very bad health, but his grandson is building a track about 20 miles from John's old track.
